Know the role behind the service.
This page identifies the business responsible for each service and explains the disclosures relevant to fund management, investments, lending, broking and professional introductions.
The Regalis brand
Regalis connects fund management, investment and finance services. The company, manager, lender or broker responsible for a particular relationship is identified in the relevant formal documents. Read the applicable documents to understand the parties involved before entering an arrangement.
Investment management
A managed fund follows its mandate and offering documents. Its manager, trustee, administrator, custodian and other service providers can be different parties with different responsibilities. The investment structure should explain who does what.
Direct finance and finance broking
A direct finance proposal and a broking engagement are different relationships. Where Regalis acts as broker, an external lender makes its own assessment and determines the facility terms. The role and provider should be clear before a client proceeds.
Eligibility and availability
Investment participation can be restricted by the terms and eligibility requirements of an offer. A description of a strategy does not mean an investment is open or suitable for every visitor. A general enquiry does not reserve an allocation.
Fees and relationships
Relevant product and service documents should explain management costs, transaction fees, commissions and other remuneration. Related-party interests and opportunity allocation arrangements need to be considered alongside those costs.
Investment risks
Investments can lose value or capital. Income may vary and access to funds may be restricted or delayed. Security, diversification and a target term do not eliminate risk. The particular risks depend on the assets and structure.
Professional partners
The role of an external broker or referral partner should be defined and documented. Referral fees or other commercial arrangements do not replace client consent or grant unrestricted access to private information.
